Week #52 - Monday, 12th May 2014

Okay, here it finally is my last Black & White photo. I know, officially I should've post it last week but for some reason I couldn't. After a bit of thinking I still don't know why... On one hand I'm sad this year is finished, on the other hand I'm relieved too. Some weeks, it became a bit of a burden too, to combine with work. And then, what do you post as your last picture? Well, I hadn't a clue. So I let it go and then came up with this; it's a collection of black and white gifts I've been given the past year to maybe use...

Anyway the reason I started this project, was to have a bit more creativity in my life, have a reason to do something every week, share my love for black and white and also improve my photography skills. I still think there is lots more to learn on photography, but my lessons learned is that I'm far more comfortable with my camera, shooting manually rather then automatically, understand light a bit more. Last but not least: just go for it!

Week #50 - Monday, 21st April 2014

No clue what happened here; but I totally forgot to post my Monday pic.... I shot it in the morning with the intention to post it later that night, but I totally forgotten about it. Must have something to do with Monday being a national holiday here in Holland and feeling like Sunday to me. After that I fell full in the rest of the week..

Anyway, here it is: it's not my own idea, I got the tip from a friend (thanx Dee), but liked it. Not so happy with the result though. Easter egg painting has never really been my thing. It's the combination between the shape of the egg, painting in general and me hating getting paint on my fingers ;-). So this is the best I could do.

Week #49 - Monday, 14th April 2014

Yeaaaah, this week a picture from the give away I won last week. When receiving this lovely, little parcel at home, I saw it was almost entirely black & white. I just had to use it for my Monday photo this week.

It's been long, since I posted my Monday photo so early. Actually since I'm working again. I cannot manage it other. BUT today I'm home since our little Flynn's got the chicken pox. Poor boy. I also had a little more time for creating and I like that.

Finally my laptop is working again. Here's my Monday pic. It's me in Black & White. I love the looks of the photo. It's been shot by my iPhone 5s and I think you can clearly see the difference in quality. However, I still like it. Can you say that from your own photo's :-)?

I found back some old books last week. I bought them when living in London, 12 years ago when I just learned about the word 'coffee table books'. I actually still like them. And doesn't this photo of one of the most gorgeous, stunning, beautiful ladies ever lived, makes you smile instantly? To me this is the best photo of Audrey Hepburn I've ever seen. So pure and so beautiful.... i feel you look right into her heart.
